Francesc Perera is an emerging photographer and professional mathematician. His profession has allowed him to travel across several countries and to live for extended periods of time abroad, only to realize that what is most interesting to capture lies nearby, in the everyday life.
His work is evolving towards the exploration of the relation of the self with reality/fiction and his/her own identity.
The patience, the ability to establish connections, the creativity and craftmanship inherent in scientific research are deeply intertwined with his images.
